  • Quietly nestled between the busy urban centers of Brainerd, Grand Rapids and Duluth, Aitkin is in the heart of Minnesota's Up North Adventure Country. The area is known for its lakes, woods, and opportunities for weekend recreation activities. Mille Lacs is the largest lake of the approximately 365 lakes in the area.

Aitkin can be described as a full service community. Enjoy the small town atmosphere combined with excellent educational and medical facilities, and business services, in addition to the many cultural centers, paved bike/walking trail, parks, campgrounds, and outdoor sports facilities.
