Screening & Selection Committee


MEMBERSHIP AND DUTIES

The AHC FCC will serve as the screening committee and will review the materials for each nominee. Based on this information, the AHC FCC will approve some or all of the nominations for final review.The AHC FCC will forward the materials from approved nominations to the SVP for Health Sciences, who will send them to the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will submit the name(s) to the Senior Vice President for the Academic Health Sciences.

PROCESS FOR DETERMINING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SELECTION COMMITTEE

In the initial years, external experts in the field of the scholarship of teaching and learning will serve as the Selection Committee for the Academy for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. In subsequent years, the members of the AHC Academy for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning will serve as the selection committee.
