Letters of Support


External Supporting Letters: The nominator will contact THREE of the nominee's peers outside the University. The nominator will ask the letter writers to focus on the importance of the nominee's contributions to the field of teaching-learning, based on review of the portfolio and of the scholarly papers. The letters should include a statement about the impact that the nominee's work has had on higher education generally and/or on their discipline. These letters are to be returned to the nominator for inclusion in the nomination packet.

Internal Supporting Letters: The nominator will contact THREE of the nominee's peers within the University who have observed teaching and/or reviewed products developed by the nominee. The nominator will ask the letter writers to focus on the importance of the nominee's contributions to the field of teaching-learning, based on review of the portfolio and of the scholarly papers. The letters should include a statement about the impact that the nominee's work has had on higher education generally and/or on their discipline. These letters are to be returned to the nominator for inclusion in the nomination packet.

Student Letters: The nominator will contact THREE students the nominee has taught/advised. The nominator will ask the letter writers to focus on the importance of the nominee's contributions to the field of teaching-learning, based on review of the portfolio and of the scholarly papers. The letters should include a statement about the impact that the nominee's work has had on higher education generally and/or on their discipline. These letters are to be returned to the nominator for inclusion in the nomination packet.
