The AHC Office of Education is committed to providing the highest quality disciplinary and interdisciplinary education for the next generation of health care professionals. AHC Student Health Insurance All Academic Health Center (AHC) students are automatically enrolled in the University-sponsored Student Health Benefit Plan (SHBP). Boynton Health Service: Student Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) Center for Health Interprofessional Programs (CHIP) A student-driven program focused on building interprofessional relationships and developing initiatives designed to enhance the students education and experience. CHIP offers students a wide variety of academic, service, leadership, and networking opportunities. CHIP Center for Interprofessional Education (CIPE) The Center for Interprofessional Education provides support and resources to students as they participate in interprofessional courses, events, activities and experiences. CIPE Health Careers Center (HCC) Providing career information and specialized services on health careers for prospective and current undergraduate students. HCC Infectious Disease Prevention Educational Module Infectious Disease Prevention Educational Module Minnesota Area Health Education Center (MN AHEC) By working with Academic Health Center (AHC) schools, the Minnesota Area Health Education Center (MN AHEC) helps students explore health careers, gain experience training in rural communities, and suppo health professionals practicing in greater Minnesota. MN AHEC MyU Portal The MyU portal helps faculty and students organize and navigate through over two million pages of electronic resources at the University of Minnesota. The portal helps users become more familiar with the University, obtain personalized information easily and quickly, learn about upcoming events, and communicate and collaborate with others. MyU Student Consultative Committee The Academic Health Center Student Consultative Committee (AHC SCC) is a committee comprised of graduate, professional, and undergraduate students from within the Academic Health Center to discuss issues and concerns in common among AHC colleges and programs.
