Classroom Support

For classroom support dial #626-5100, menu option #1.

AHC-IS provides daily preventive maintenance on audio/visual equipment in the following AHC classrooms:

• Moos 2-520, 530, 580, 620, 650, 690, 5-125
• PWB 2-470
• Mayo Auditorium, Mayo 100, Mayo 125
• Jackson 2-137
• BSBE 2-101
• Vet Med AS 125, 135, VS-145

Daily preventive maintenance occurs in the morning prior to the start of classes.  Typical maintenance includes: 

• Unlock projection booths in the morning and lock them in the evening
• Power up equipment, test functionality
• Verify wireless microphones are operating correctly
• Check overhead projector bulbs
• Observe the overall status of the room

AHC-IS does weekly walk-through maintenance on the following AHC classrooms:

• Moos 2-107, 2-113, 2-629, 2-639, 2-672, 2-680
• PWB 6-210, 6-224, B-185, B-190, B-191, B-193
• WDH 2-110, 2-120, 2-130, 2-140

Weekly preventive maintenance occurs when the room is unoccupied.  Typical maintenance includes: 

• Power up equipment, test functionality
• Verify wireless microphones (if any) are operating correctly
• Check overhead projector bulbs
• Observe the overall status of the room

AHC-IS, in conjunction with AHC Classroom Services, will initiate appropriate actions to repair and maintain equipment within the AHC classrooms. AHC-IS does not have the ability to make major repairs to audio/video equipment in the classrooms.
