Scheduling After-Hours Events

To Schedule After-Hours & Special Events in Hasselmo, MCB, 717, LRB/MTRF and MBB :

After-Hour events are events that take place in our buildings after the doors are locked. See the buildings below to find out if your event qualifies as "after-hours."

  • NHH: Meetings starting after 6 PM or starting before 6 PM and extending beyond 7 PM
  • MCB: Meetings starting after 6 PM or starting before 6 PM and extending beyond 7 PM
  • 717: Meetings starting after 6 PM or starting before 6 PM and extending beyond 7 PM
  • LRB/MTRF: Meetings starting after 4:30 PM or starting before 4:30 PM and extending beyond 5:30 PM
  • MBB: Meetings starting after 4:30 PM or starting before 4:30 PM and extending beyond 5:30 PM.

Special Events are events that use building atriums, common/open areas during normal business hours.

After-hour events require one of our employees to staff the building during the event. A combo code and an account string to pay for the staffing are required before the event is scheduled. If all meeting participants have access to the building, an employee to staff the building is not required.

Cancellation Policy: Before 48 hours, there will be no charge and the event will be canceled.  24-48 hours prior to event, the department/PI will be responsible for paying 50% of the employee's cost.  0-24 hours before the event, the department/PI is responsible for 100% of the cost of the employee.
