Key Requests for NHH, Jackson, MCB, LRB/MTRF, or 717 Delaware
 NEW! Key Online Request Form must be completed & submitted on-line for ALL key requests.
AHC Research Building Management Services (AHCRBMS) will ONLY accept on - line key requests from Faculty/PI’s assigned space in the buildings, or from Directors/Supervisors of facilities and educational areas. These people may designate a person to act in their behalf by sending an e-mail with that information to Building Management.
To request keys for their employees, students, volunteers or collaborators, authorized people must go to go to our website, complete and submit the ON-LINE Key Request Form
The form will request the following info.
- Name (legal)
- Employee or Student ID number
- Approver's name
- Building
For door keys, include room number (including code on key, if known)
If ordering keys for drawers, storage cabinets, file cabinets, etc., include the code on the lock.
Please allow approximately 1-2 business days for the request to be processed. The key will be available at the NHH Info Desk for NHH and Jackson people. For those working in MCB, the key will be at the MCB Info Desk. The key will be available at the LRB/MTRF Info Desk for those working in LRB/MTRF and at the 717 Info Desk for those working in 717 Delaware.
Building Management will pay for making additional keys if the request is due to an increase in staff. If keys are lost or not returned, the cost of additional keys will be charged to a departmental CUF’s number. Only Building Management can request NHH, Jackson, MCB, LRB/MTRF and 717 Delaware keys from Security.
ALL KEYS must be returned to the Information Desk upon completion of work in NHH, Jackson, MCB, 717 Deleware, or LRB/MTRF . Keys must not be given to any other person. You are personally responsible for any key that is assigned to you on Building Management records. These records will be made available to the Dept. of Central Security at their request.
ALL lost UMN keys must be reported to the police and Central Security as well as to AHCRBMS.
