NORTHWEST MINNESOTA AHEC Interprofessional Education Sites

Park Rapids:

St. Joseph's Hospital hosts students working together to help the hospital address childhood obesity. St. Joseph's serves as a regional weight management center. The IPE staff contact is Leah Walters.

Bemidji:

Iverson Corner Drug hosts students working together with staff on home medical management. Iverson Drug provides this service for a wide area in NW MN. The IPE contact is Paul Iverson.

Pre-Dental Student Job Shadowing and Mentorship:

The NW AHEC partners with the Northern Dental Access Clinic in Bemidji to allow students to job shadow in a dental Community Health center serving a wide variety of patients within the NW MN region.
