Scheduling Final Exams
1. In the third week of the semester, AHC CS will send out an email reminding departmental schedulers of upcoming final exam scheduling.
Final exams in AHC Classroom spaces are scheduled automatically according to the University’s Final Exam Schedule.
Final exams will not be automatically scheduled for courses which are not scheduled through the last week of the semester.
2. If a course will hold a final exam as scheduled, in the room it has been meeting in, do nothing. The final exam will be scheduled and the departmental scheduler will receive a confirmation email approximately six weeks before finals week.
OR
If the course will not be holding a final or would like to hold one at a different time or in a different room send an email to ahcrooms@umn.edu within 1 week after receiving final exam scheduling email.
Allowances will be made for alternate seating when possible, but because of a lack of large spaces, it may not be possible or you may have to split your course into two smaller rooms.
3. It is the instructor’s responsibility to make sure students know when and where their final exams are being held.
