Departmental Schedule Viewer Instructions

To request an event:
  1. In the left-hand navigation choose the space you wish to view and use the calendar to choose the date.

  2. Click on an open space on the schedule.

  3. Log in using your U of M X.500 ID login authentication. This will direct you to a new room request form that will be pre-populated with the date, time and room preference you have indicated.

  4. Make any changes necessary to the pre-populated information (i.e. event time or multiple dates).

  5. Fill out all required information about your event. Required fields are highlighted in red

  6. If the event requires Distance Technology, be sure to note this in the notes field.

  7. Submit your event request.

  8. After submitting your request, you will receive an email indicating that OCM received your request.

To track your event request:

Click on the “My Requests” link on the top left of the Classroom Schedule Viewer screen. If you have multiple requests, you can filter by both Pending Requests and Approved Requests. There is even an option to edit your event requests if changes occur before it has been approved.

  • After a room request has been processed and approved, it will show up under Approved Requests and you will receive an email confirmation from the OCM Scheduling Unit.
