Significant Accomplishments
in 2005-2006:

  • 93% of children ages 0-2 years, 92% of children 3-5 years, and 88% of children 6 to 11 years, and 81% of teens are up-to-date on Well Child Checks.

  • 87% of children ages 3-5 years, 88% of children ages 6-11 years, and 84% of adolescents have had a dental appointment at CUHCC or have been referred to the dental provider of their choices.

  • 95% of pregnant women received dental education.

  • 94% of pregnant women identified as using alcohol discontinued use.

  • 100% of pregnant women completed HBV/HIV testing.

  • 73% of mental health clients had positive outcomes with treatment.

  • From January to July 2006, adult patients were screened for the following risks for each gender:

    Diet/Exercise assessment:  81% M, 91%  F
    Cholesterol screening:  94% M, 91% F
    Diabetes screening:  88% M, 93%
    Tobacco screening:  96% M, 99% F

  • Strategies for quitting smoking were addressed for 96% of male patients and 97% of female patients who regularly smoked.
