Community-University Health Care Center (CUHCC) opened its doors in 1966 to provide primary care services to children and low income families in South Minneapolis.
Over 45 years later, CUHCC is a federally qualified health center and also a department within the University of Minnesota’s Academic Health Center. The clinic now offers medical, dental, mental health, advocacy, legal, and other programs. CUHCC serves 12,000 patients a year through 62,000 visits annually.
