Girl Blowing Flower

Organ donation can and does save lives.  Today, there are more ways to help save or enhance people's lives than ever before.  Read about how one family's decision to donate their son's organs saved several people's lives.

Learn more about the organ shortage and how you can help.  Read about the two ways organs can be donated - from deceased donors and living donors.  The Transplant Center at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview,  has performed more living donor transplants than anywhere else in the world.  Find out more about The Transplant Center's Living Donor Program

Read the stories of patients who've received a pancreas transplant and participants who've received an islet transplant and learn more about how organ donation has positively impacted their lives.
