Spotlight: Rich Interprofessional Learning Experience
Students from six health-care specialties came together in August to explore the damaging effects of methamphetamine abuse and to determine how various areas of health expertise could be helpful to a methamphetamine user.
Students of medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, social work and public health participated in the second annual “Hibbing Interprofessional Experience.” This educational experience of health professional students makes real both the team-based care that they will provide and the depth of health issues they may address.
