Our Team is divided into three areas of expertise: Consulting, Staffing, and Information Systems (HRIS). Below are some general guidelines to help direct you to the appropriate resource. For a more detailed list, see Questions & Answers: Who do I contact?
Staffing Consultants can assist with posted jobs, with job descriptions, and with determining job classifications, etc.
HRIS Staff assist with setting up new appointments and handling new employee paperwork. They process all payroll issues. HRIS enters and corrects Time and Sick/Vacation Leave sheets for Civil Service and Bargaining Unit staff, but not for P&A staff.
And your HR Consultants are basically there for everything else or when you are in doubt about who to contact. They can assist with offer letters, pay adjustments, advice on performance and attendance issues, policy and contract interpretation, position management, grievances, and with the documentation and processing of layoffs and non-renewals, etc.
