| Array Picture |
A
jpeg image of the last chip printed. Probed with a Genisphere 3DNA feature
detection probe, and scanned on the Scanarray 5000.
|
| Spot Layout |
A
comma-delimited spreadsheet showing the visual layout of spots on the
microarray. Download and open using the (File...Open...) command
within MS Excel.
|
| Full Sample Info |
A
tab-delimited spreadsheet containing more extensive information on the
genes spotted in the array. Download and open using the File...Open...)
command within MS Excel.
|
| QuantArray Import |
A
plain-text file used to tell the QuantArray software where samples are
located in the array. Specify this file as the "Gene Database"
in QuantArray. Genes are identified by their 96-well plate location in
the BMAP set. (5c10 indicates plate 5, well c10)
|
|
A
file in Axon's .gal format that tells GenePix software where samples are
located in the array, and how to set up the quantification grids.

Spotting
Details
|
|
|
Your
analysis protocol should be set up with 48 sub-arrays (4 columns by 12
rows) with 4.5 mm between each array. Each array is a 22x22 grid with
0.2 mm between spots, and a spot size around 170 microns. Bear in mind
that many spots will be blank, since the spotting protocol stopped prematurely
- somewhere shortly after completing 384-well plate 12.
