The Masons of Minnesota will march in full ceremonial dress to commemorate their historic pledge - which began 50 years ago to the day - to support the fight against cancerat the University of Minnesota. A great visual, the march will end at the Masonic Cancer Center for a formal rededication ceremony. |

March will end with a rededication ceremony at 1:45 p.m. at the site of the original Memorial Hospital, now the Masonic Cancer Center:

This event is in recognition of the historic partnership between the Masons of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota, begun as a commitment in 1955 to build a cancer hospital, and culminating in the largest gift ever received by the University ($65 million) in April, 2008 for the purpose of cancer research to find the cure. |
The Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota is part of the University's Academic Health Center.
