The Office of Clinical Research, founded in September 2005, seeks to promote clinical research collaborations, and helps to train the next generation of clinical researchers. The office was first proposed in the Clinical Research Task Force Report (PDF).

Elizabeth Seaquist, M.D., serves as interim director of the Office of Clinical Research, which reaches across the six health sciences schools at the University of Minnesota.
