Fall 2005 Mini Medical School

The fall 2005 series of Mini Medical School will be a foundations course focusing on the building blocks of medicine. Class topics and presenters are below:

October 24: Catch This (Class) If You Can: Microbiology

October 31: Micro to Macro: From the Classroom to the Clinic
Eric Bauer, Ph.D., Professor, Genetics, Cell Biology, & Development
Sharon Allen, M.D., Ph.D., Professor, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health

November 7: A Prescription for What Ails You: A Dose of Pharmacology   
James Cloyd, PharmD., Professor, Experimental & Clinical Pharmacology
Pam Jacobson, PharmD., Associate Professor, Experimental & Clinical Pharmacology

Classes are Monday evenings, 6 to 8:30 p.m., in the Coffman Memorial Union Theater. Registration for the five classes is $60.
