Minnesota Health Care Labor Trends

Dr. Hine noted that health care is a major contributor to the state’s economy, growing rapidly despite declines throughout much of the economy.  Worker shortages have diminished, but vacancy rates remain relatively high.  Dr. Hine discussed that rapid growth in health care is projected to continue, likely creating further shortages.
