Nursing students Back-To-School Advice for Adults
Here you'll find three resources: tips for deciding if the time is right to return to learning, tips for evaluating the program where you want to apply after you've decided school is in your future, and tips for succeeding once you are back in the classroom. This advice has been compiled by a College of Continuing Education career and lifework consultant who specializes in helping adults return to school.

Adult Learners and Student Parents
The Adult Learners and Student Parents Advisory Committee reports to the Office of Student Affairs and includes faculty, staff, and student members from across the Twin Cities Campuses. The committee was formed to assess the needs of student parents and non-traditional aged undergraduate students (25 years of age and older), as well as the University climate for these two student populations.

Career Voyages
This web site is the result of a collaboration between the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Education. It is designed to provide information on high growth, high demand occupations along with the skills and education needed to attain those jobs.

CLEP Tests
The College-Level Examination Program® or CLEP provides students of any age with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses. However, it is important to note that not all health professional programs will accept CLEP test scores in place of course prerequisites. Please contact the health professional program you are applying to for information on whether a CLEP score will be accepted.
