Video Requirements
The first part of the online HIPAA training involves watching a short video presentation. This will require you to have either the QuickTime or RealVideo web browser plug-in installed. The presentation is available in both formats.
It is possible that your computer already meets the requirements for viewing the video presentation. Try viewing the QuickTime version first. Macintosh users are encouraged to use the QuickTime video format. If the video does not play, try the RealVideo version next.
Missing or outdated QuickTime or RealVideo browser plug-ins can prevent you from viewing the video presentation. Below are instructions for downloading updated plug-in software. Macintosh users: run Software Update, either from the System Preferences (OS X) or the Control Panels (pre OS X), to update QuickTime software.
