Breeding Card SOP's
- PI fills out Breeding Card Request Form (in advance) and delivers to RAR Business Office.
- RAR Business Office:
- Prints the number of two-part breeding cards with barcode requested by the PI on the request form (part 1 for cage and part 2 for activation)
- Delivers breeding cards to the requestor, who stores for future use
- Keeps a record of all cards assigned per the "Breeding Card Request Form"
- PI's technician:
- Places part 1 of the breeding card on the cage
- Enters the date for activation on part 2 of the breeding card (date that billing is to begin) and places part 2 in the "Out Box".
- RAR Business Office activates the breeding card on the date listed
- Technician places the cage card in the "Out Box" when the animal box is empty and the billing needs to be terminated.
