Description: Scholarship program to support the career development of academic physicians

Eligibility: Assistant Professors who received an M.D. degree (or equivalent) in 1997 or later who are judged worthy of support by the quality of their research proposal and their potential for academic success ( US citizen or permanent resident) . All scientific research relevant to human health is eligible for consideration; research that has relevance to cures for human disease is highly encouraged.

Nominations Process: The Medical School is allowed only one nomination and an ad hoc review committee assigned by the Dean will determine the nomination. Please submit all nominations for review (including application materials) to the Medical School Faculty Affairs Office by Aug. 8, 2005.
