Description:  The Doris Duke Clinical Scientist Development Award provides grants to support junior-level physician-scientists conducting clinical research in cardiovascular diseases, cancer, AIDS and other infectious diseases, and sickle cell anemia and other blood disorders.

Eligibility: Physician/scientist conducting clinical research; full-time, faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or below; appointed to first full-time faculty positions between January 31, 2001 and January 31, 2006; have a senior clinical research mentor at their institution.
