2005 ASPH/HRSA Fellowship Program - 
Due February 11, 2005

ASPH is now accepting applications for the 
ASPH/HRSA Fellowship Program, the deadline for 
which is Friday, February 11, 2005.

The ASPH/HRSA Fellowship Program enables recent 
graduates of ASPH-member accredited schools of 
public health (SPH) to be placed in a wide range 
of fellowship assignments within HRSA. Fellows 
benefit from: hands-on training within a federal 
public health agency; exposure to state-of-the-
art information; acquisition of skills and 
knowledge useful to their careers; and, 
nteraction with technical experts in their chosen 
fields.

There are currently five positions available in 
the Bureau of Health Professions (BHPr) and one 
position in the Maternal and Child Health Bureau 
(MCHB). All positions will be based at HRSA 
headquarters in Rockville, MD, approximately 10 
miles outside of Washington, DC. Positions are 
for one year with the possibility of a second 
year extension.

To be eligible for the fellowship program, 
applicants must have received a graduate degree 
from an ASPH-member, accredited, school of 
public health, no more than 5 years prior to the 
beginning of the fellowship. Current students who 
will graduate in May 2005 are eligible for the 
program. Applicants must also be US citizens or 
hold visas ermitting permanent residence in the 
US.
