SUMMARY OF PROGRAM: The Midway Transportation

University UNITED, a nonprofit coalition of
community-based organizations and businesses along
University Avenue between the State Capitol and
the U of M Minneapolis Campus. The goal of the
TMO is to reduce vehicle-miles traveled in the
Midway area, with a focus on promoting better
infrastructure for and more use of transit,

Paul Extension of the Midtown Greenway will fit

traverse. The goals for this phase are to identify
 opportunities for greenspace and other

identify access points and gathering places along
the Greenway, and to provide some preliminary
concepts for land use and design issues for future
 development adjacent to the Greenway.

Duties/Responsibilities:
The duties of the student research assistant will
be to gather data, and input from community
