Global Health Research Assistant

The SPH seeks a research assistant to work with 
the global health initiative.  This position 
will assist in developing global health program 
plans, under the direction of William Toscano.  

Duties:
Assess knowledge of India, its culture, 
politics, and health infrastructure; act as a 
liaison & staff support for the global health 
faculty; assist in bridging & coordinating SPH & 
AHC activities in global health; assist in 
bridging global health faculty with 
international students; assist in bridging 
University international resources with Student 
Services in the SPH; work with the SPH 
advancement team to provide colleagues the 
information and training in building external 
relations; other duties as assigned.

Hours & Salary:
50% time position has arranged hours at a salary 
of $15.71/hr.  Position will be for the duration 
of fall semester & continue during spring 
semester.

Qualifications:
Knowledge and/or experience regarding 
international countries specifically India, and 
various cultures, politics & health 
infrastructure; ability to work independently, 
excellent communication skills; strong research 
skills; student with the SPH.
