Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), a
world-renowned Comprehensive Cancer Center located
in the heart of Boston’s medical area, is seeking
applicants for its inaugural Administrative
Fellowship Program.

The Fellowship is a one-year program designed to
provide high potential individuals with the
opportunity to learn about DFCI through
participation in high-visibility projects and
access to senior-level management. Reporting to
the Chief Operating Officer, fellows will hone
communication, analytical, and leadership skills
while developing expertise in areas such as the
integration of research and clinical care;
performance improvement; strategic planning;
network development and facility expansion.

The Fellowship will consist of four core rotations
in Finance, Clinical Operations, Planning, and
Research Administration. In addition, fellows will
have the opportunity to make significant
contributions in other administrative areas of the
hospital, including Communications, Human
Resources and Information Systems. Senior-level
managers will serve as preceptors during the
rotations, providing valuable mentorship and
feedback on the fellows’ performance. Fellows will
receive a competitive salary and benefit package.

About DFCI

DFCI’s mission is to provide expert, compassionate
care to children and adults with cancer while
advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment,
cure, and prevention of cancer and related
diseases. As an affiliate of Harvard Medical
School and a Comprehensive Cancer Center
designated by the National Cancer Institute, the
Institute also provides training for new
generations of physicians, scientists and
administrators, designs programs that promote
public health particularly among high-risk and
underserved populations, and disseminates
innovative patient therapies and scientific
discoveries to our target community across the
United States and throughout the world.

DFCI’s success is largely due to its relationships
with Harvard cancer hospitals and Partners
Healthcare System. DFCI partners with the Brigham
and Women’s Hospital, one of the top-ranked
academic medical centers in the United States, in
the delivery of adult cancer care to over 10,000
cancer patients annually. DFCI and Boston
