Research Assistant
DUTIES Responsible for providing support to a
National Science Foundation supported project
studying Assertive Community Treatment teams.
The project is from September 15, 2007 to August
31, 2009. The individual will be responsible for
maintaining contact lists for Assertive
Community Treatment teams and assisting in
developing surveys, data analysis, drafting
reports, presentations, and drafting papers.
QUALIFICATIONS Applicant should have a
demonstrated work history of taking initiative
and leading in organizing tasks, demonstrated
ability to work as a team player, and have
strong organizing and communicating skills. A
strong foundation in sociological and
organizational theory with applications to
health care settings is essential. Strong social
network methodological skills, particularly
longitudinal network analysis, are essential.
Interest in working on the project for the full
period of the project and developing a doctoral
dissertation topic from the research is a plus.
START DATE September 15, 2007
WORK SCHEDULE 25% time (10 hours per week) for
Fall Term, 2007. (This is an initial appointment
period. As the duties expand, the appointment
level will increase to 50%. Continued employment
will be conditional on adequate performance).
PAY RANGE $16.22-$20.22/hour
depending on academic status and the pay
schedule effective in the Division of
Health Policy & Management.
