DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:	
Work with Dr Sue Duval, Dr Larry Hedges and members 
of nationwide EPCs on project to extend the “Trim 
and Fill” method for publication bias.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:	
Excellent skills in statistical programming. 
Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics. 
Interest in meta-analysis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD candidate in Biostatistics or Epidemiology, with
experience in meta-analysis and simulation studies.

WORK SCHEDULE:	
Depending on tuition requirements, and 
qualifications, approximately 20 hours per week over
Summer 2008 with the possibility of extension to 
Fall 2008.

COMPENSATION:	
$16.22-$20.22, depending on academic status and the 
pay schedule effective in the Division of 
Epidemiology and Community Health.
