JOB DESCRIPTION:
Data analysis of large epidemiological databases, 
data validation and quality control.

Candidate will be supervised by a statistician and 
faculty with experience in data analysis and 
relevant databases. Candidate’s main task will be 
execution of analytic plans. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD student in epidemiology, biostatistics or other 
public health discipline. Should have completed 
biostatistics 1 and 2 and epidemiology 1 and 2. This
position is contingent upon enrollment and current 
registration as a student.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Comfortable with databases, strong SAS programming 
skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with data analysis preferred. We are 
looking for a mature candidate with good work 
habits. 

RATE/HRS/DURATION:
The position is 50% Fall/Spring Semester and full 
time in summer. If candidate is a good fit, this 
could translate into a multi-year position.

Salary range is $16.75 to $26.09/hr depending upon 
degree status.
