GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT POSITIONS
PubH 6342 (Epidemiologic Methods II)
2 Positions, 25% Time Each
Spring Semester 2009 (Jan 8 - May 24)


REQUIRED DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:	
1) Attend each class session (4:00 – 5:15pm on 
Tuesday and Thursday).
2) Assist instructor in preparing materials for class.
3) Maintain regular office hours to answer students’ questions.
4) Assist in grading student assignments.
5) Possible class lecturing (1-2 sessions).


QUALIFICATIONS:	
Successful candidates will be graduate students 
working on a Masters degree or PhD in the School of 
Public Health who have completed at least two 
courses on epidemiologic methods.


COMPENSATION:
Current hourly pay rates for teaching assistants in 
the School of Public Health are:

$16.75 for those with a bachelor’s degree
$21.44 for those with a master’s degree
$26.09 for those with a doctoral degree
