Veterans Internship Grant Program

Through a generous gift from the Wal-Mart 
Foundation, U of M student veterans and service 
members can now apply for grants of up to $1,800 
for unpaid or low-paid internships. 

Grants will be awarded for Fall, Spring and Summer 
semesters. The grant program is currently only 
funded for the 2009/2010 academic year.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This grant opportunity is open to student veterans 
and service members who are degree-seeking 
undergraduate and graduate students at the U of M, 
are enrolled in any college, degree or graduate 
program. Student veterans and service members from 
U of M Crookston, Duluth, Morris and Rochester are 
also eligible for support through this program. 

APPLICATION DEADLINES:
Fall semester: September 23, 2009
Spring semester: February 10, 2010
May/summer term: June 9, 2010
