Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health 
Sciences (http://www.drake.edu/cphs/) invites 
applications for a full-time, twelve-month tenure 
track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate 
Professor level. The position is available June 
1, 2010.  

The successful candidate will be expected to 
develop innovative teaching and learning 
approaches for the classroom and to develop an 
ongoing, fundable research program. Instructional 
responsibilities include the undergraduate 
program in the health sciences, the public health 
concentration, and introductory and advanced 
courses in the PharmD program. Opportunities for 
teaching elective courses in the candidate’s area 
of expertise will be available.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A PhD, DrPH or equivalent terminal degree in 
epidemiology, public health, pharmacy 
administration or closely related field is 
preferred. Candidates in the final stages of 
completing their dissertation will be considered. 
The search committee will consider candidates 
whose educational background and work experience 
are from a wide range of professional and 
scientific disciplines. The candidate must have a 
strong commitment to teaching and research 
mentoring at the undergraduate level. Start up 
funds and research space are available.
