Create a New Subject:
Use this option when you want to create a new thread for other users to review and reply on a new topic.
- Click on "New Subject" at the top of each input page.
- Type in the Subject Name for the new thread.
- Type in your E-mail address and Name. These items will appear in the message header. The Message Board will store your name and email address for quick replies going forward.
- Click on "Create Subject."
- Create the initial message for the New Subject by entering the heading (subject line of this individual message) and the message text.
Reply to a Message:
Use this option to determine where in the hierarchy of the Subject or thread your reply should appear.
- Click on the Subject Name on the Message Board Home Page.
- To reply to the initial message for the Subject, click on the "Reply" link at the top of the page or the "Reply" link to the right of the first message on the page.
- To reply to another reply in the Subject or thread, click on the "Reply" link to the right of the individual message.
- The Subject line will be pre-filled based on the message that you are responding to.
- The From (your Name) and Email fields may be pre-filled if you have posted a message using the same computer previously.
- Click "Submit Message."
- View your posted message.
- Click on "Show Thread" to view the entire Subject with hierarchy.
Edit a Posted Message:
This option will appear under a message if you used the same computer to post the message.
- Click on the "Edit" link.
- Update the Subject and Message Body fields accordingly.
- Click on "Edit Message."
Delete a Posted Message:
This option will appear under a message if you used the same computer to post the message.
- Click on the "Delete" link.
- Review the message. If the message is to be deleted, click on "Delete Message."
Search for a Message:
Use this option to search for a particular message.
- Click on the "Search" link found at the top of every page.
- Type the keyword or phrase in the box and click the "Search" button.
- The site searches for an exact instance of the characters typed into the Search box.
- If you are unsure of the spelling, type in any portion of a word.
