Priority reservations for these courses will go to Fairview employees.  As space permits, registration will be opened to others. Seats will be reserved for UMMC Birthplace staff. Once these seats have been filled, registration will be opened up to other Fairview entities and outside individuals.

Schedule: For all classes, there will be one hour for lunch on your own.

Faculty:  Molly Pessl, BSN, IBCLC is the director of Evergreen Perinatal Education in the Seattle area and has taught lactation education classes for us for several years. She is a thorough and engaging presenter who has consistently received high marks from Fairview nurses who have attended her classes.  The one-day classes are focused on very basic info and are suitable for labor & delivery staff. The two-day classes, which are more expansive, are suitable for postpartum staff.

Continuing education credit hours and CERPs and L-CERPs (for IBCLC): 16.80

Fees:
UMMC staff: Free
Others (including Central Metro clinic staff):  One-Day $85  Two-Day  $160
Cancellations and no-shows:
Before September 3rd - $25 cancellation fee
After September 3rd or no-shows – no refund
If you are Fairview staff and do not attend the day for which you are registered, your manager will be notified and your unit will be charged the above fees.
