Evergreen Perinatal Education
This in-depth week-long course enables participants to provide accurate, current and consistent information about breastfeeding and lactation to expectant and new families. Intended for: individuals preparing to become board certified lactation consultants, IBCLCs requiring CERPS, maternity or pediatric nurses, obstetricians, midwives, pediatricians, family medicine physicians, childbirth educators, labor and postpartum doulas, WIC clinic staff members, facilitators of early parenting education, social workers, Early Headstart staff, La Leche League leaders, public health nurses or staff, occupational or respiratory therapists, and Registered Dieticians. All areas of the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners exam grid are included, and the course content is based on current scientific research as it applies to “best practice” issues in the clinical setting.
- Cost: Fairview Staff: $500 Non-Fairview: $650 (Three or more from same agency: $600 each)
- Continuing education credits will be offered
