Welcome to the Biomedical Discovery District

You are standing in the lobby of the Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building, a state-of-the-art facility that is home to some of the top researchers in the country.

It is part of the University of Minnesota’s Biomedical Discovery District (BDD), a complex of buildings on the Twin Cities campus designed for researchers from across the University’s health sciences to work side by side. The BDD is a key driver of scientific discovery, and it plays a significant role in helping Minnesota remain a leader in the bioscience industry.
